10 weeks

At 10 weeks...
*I like food again!  I can eat pretty much anything, though sometimes I don't feel hungry, but I can still put a whole meal away!  The only food I avoid is fried!  It tastes good at the time, but later I regret it...for the next 7 months no bacon, wings, mozzarella sticks, fried chicken, most fast food burgers/fries (though Arby's curly fries were ok :)
*You have seemed to make a schedule regarding bed (hopefully this means you are more like me and like to be prepared!).  I go to bed normally around 9:30.  At 1:00 am I wake up to use the bathroom, from then until wake-up I am usually visiting the bathroom every 2 hours.  This is a lot of peeing...even for me!
*Smells are crazy!  To clean the kitchen I had to put a towel around my nose so that I couldn't smell anything and there wasn't really anything there!
*We still do not have a list of names for you.  Your daddy decided that he really wanted to give you a Biblical name and none of our previous favorites fit that list.  Though, I am still trying to convince him to keep the girl's name!
*I had coffee!  I was really going to give this up, but Friday night/Saturday morning I got no sleep and there was no way I was going to make it through the day.  I'm sorry if you are born addicted to caffeine.
*This week, I would have to say I popped.  It's is now apparent to most people that I could "at least" be pregnant...I even had the first mom at work ask me when I was due...though it caught me off guard and just made me feel fat.  Even some of the women at church have said it is obvious!

It's crazy how quickly I have fallen in love with you.  When no one is around I talk to you and dream of what we will do and what our life will become when you are here...though I think your Daddy has no real idea!

First Glimpse

Yesterday was honestly the best day of this pregnancy by far...no morning sickness was not gone, no I did not feel like 100%...but I got to see you!
It was our first ultrasound and Daddy and I got to see and hear your beating little heart...165 bpm!  I wanted to cry.  I've had no symptoms to think that something was wrong, but to see your heart beating on that screen made everything seem so real and to know that you were healthy was too good to hear!  You are measuring a bit small, so my due date will get pushed back a week probably...but I'm waiting for the doctor to call and confirm this!
At one point as the tech was moving all aroun you even kicked one of your legs up...though your daddy missed that part!  It was exciting to share your "first picture" with all of our friends and family and was totally amazed to see that your daddy posted this on facebook:
Getting to hear my baby's heartbeat for the first time was amazing. God you rock!!

Week 7

This is Keith's daddy gift.  We have never agreed on diaper bags, I want to look cool and put together and he wants to look like he's not carrying a purse! So Spencer's to the rescue with a TMNT bag...it even comes with a matching changing pad!
Me at seven weeks...per Aunt Sara's request all future weekly belly shirts will be in a tank so you can really see the growth!

This week I will have to say, I questioned how much my baby loved me.  How could something the size of blueberry suck all my energy from me!?  I have never felt so tired in my life.  I would be good at work, a little worn down, but nothing I couldn't handle...then as soon as I got home I became a zombie who couldn't move.  If I went to bed before 10:30 I was up at 4:00ish ready to start the day and that was not acceptable!

But onto funner things, Aunt Sara and I have been gathering information on what to do with your room.  Right now it's just a bunch of ideas until we know if you are a boy or a girl, but I do know you will have a pretty cool room!
